MISSIONS: Graduate Program

Term: Mid-April, between trimesters
EdD-LOC students will travel to San José, Costa Rica, for an experience designed to integrate students’ unique professional expertise with hands-on service opportunities
EdD in Learning and Organizational Change students will work with One More Child (OMC), an organization that provides Christ-centered services to vulnerable children and struggling families. Baylor will also partner with Transforma, an organization working with women and children to overcome social and economic vulnerability and extreme poverty.
Students will also work with an area church and may be called upon to use their professional expertise to lead seminars for families or church leaders.

Cost: With the Baylor Missions Supplement, the trip will be approximately 1,150 ($200 extra for single hotel room), in addition to airfare. Because EdD students live all over the country, they will arrange their own airfare for ease of coordination and may use airline credits and the airline of their choice.
