Alvaro Garcia
- Financial Manager
Alvaro Garcia serves as a Financial Manager for the School of Education (SOE). In this role, he partners with Financial Administrators, HCM (Human Capital Management) Specialists in Human Resources, URAs (University Research Administrators) in the Office of the Vice Provost for Research, and all Central Finance teams across Baylor, acting as the mid-level approver for transactions up to $25,000. He also supports the SOE business officer, department chairs, and center directors in financial planning, analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
Mr. Garcia earned a Bachelor of Finance from the University of Texas at Dallas and a Master of Business Administration from Tarleton State University. Before joining the School of Education, he served as a Financial Specialist and Financial Administrator for Baylor's School of Engineering & Computer Science from 2022 to 2025.
