Ashleigh Herr

Ashleigh Herr is Director of Research Administration for the School of Education. In this role, she is focused on strategic research development and advancing the school’s capacity for grant-funded research. Previously, she worked as a Financial Manager for the school, collaborating with Financial Administrators, HCM (Human Capital Management) Specialists in Human Resources, URAs (University Research Administrators) in the Office of the Vice Provost for Research, and all Central Finance positions at Baylor, and served as the mid-level approver for transactions up to $25,000. She also assisted the SOE Business Officer, Department Chairs, and Center Directors with financial planning, analysis, forecasting, and reporting.

Ms. Herr holds an undergraduate degree in accounting with a minor in biblical studies and a Master of Science in Accounting with a focus on financial reporting and auditing, both from Liberty University. She is a member of the Delta Mu Delta honor society and serves as a mentor for the organization.

Before joining Baylor, Ms. Herr worked in public school accounting and finance, serving Mexia ISD for five years and the Education Service Center Region 12 for nearly two years.
