Thomas Edwards

Thom Edwards is the Database and Analytics Manager for the Moody School of Education. Working directly with staff and faculty, he designs, develops, and maintains software to facilitate data gathering and reporting needs and requirements. His primary focus is creating tools and adding automation to continue Moody SOE’s outstanding technology support system for student studies and certification requirements at Baylor, as well as compliance with state regulatory offices. Mr. Edwards is the administrator for Student Learning & Licensure (SL&L).

Mr. Edwards joined the SOE family in 2017. His previous experience includes programming for the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Planning at McLennan Community College, software development and support for Creative Education Institute (a private educational company), and work within e-commerce. Mr. Edwards holds a Bachelor of Applied Technology in computer information systems from the University of Texas at Brownsville.
